The County Clerk's Office also issues certain types of permits and licenses. These include fireworks permits and liquor licenses, after approval by the Board of Commissioners.
Persons wishing to obtain a permit to sell fireworks should first check with the City/County Development Office at 2101 O'Neil Avenue to obtain the requirements.
Fees ($2,500 for a four month seasonal permit and $3,800 for an annual permit) are paid in the Clerk's office and the necessary insurance certificate needs to accompany the fees.
There are a variety of types of liquor licenses available in Laramie County. These include retail, restaurant, club, winery, and malt beverage.
There is a restriction on the number of retail licenses that can be issued within a five-mile radius of the City of Cheyenne. As of this time, there are no retail licenses available within the five-mile area.
